We believe (a) that such only are real believers as have been born again by the Spirit of God; (b) that their persevering attachment to Christ is the grand mark which distinguishes them from superficial professors; (c) that it is possible for the saint to be backslidden, but this condition will always result in the chastening and correcting hand of our heavenly Father; (d) that a special Providence watches over their welfare; and (e) that salvation can never be lost and the saints of God are kept by the power of God through faith unto eternal salvation.
